Anton Helder Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anton Helder (Saint-Thomas, Ontario), who passed away on September 12, 2018 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Jane Van Gurp; his parent Alle Helder; and also Margaret Helder (Vanderveen). He is survived by: his spouse Levina "Ina" Hooghiem (Van Dixhoorn); his children, Allen Helder (Christine) of Mossley, Aylmer Helder of Mossley and Frank Helder (Lisa) of Mossley; his stepchildren, Bill Hooghiem (Carlotta), Kathy Ferrow (Tom) and Rob Hooghiem (Tracy); his grandchildren, Alex, Anthony, Leanne, Corey Helder and Janelle Groenenberg (Paul); his siblings, Henry Helder (Alaine), Corrie Hooghiem (George), Minnie Hiemstra (late Andy), Bernard Helder (Jayne), Annie Hulst (late John) and Joanne Vording (Ralph); his parent-in-law Cornelia VanNetten; his sibling-in-law Harry Van Gurp; and his parent Zwaantje Helder (Van Kooten). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
