He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Hulst and Marilyn Plaquette; his brother-in-law George Widner; and his parents, Andries Hulst and Antje Hulst (Jeeninga).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Hulst (Widner); his children, Kent Hulst (Christina Barnard) of Scarborough, Maine and Kelvin Hulst of Aylmer; his grandchildren, Colin, Alyssa and Keliyah; his siblings, Rinus Hulst (Audrey), Bob Hulst, Fred Hulst (Joyce) and Kiny McGee (Terry); and his siblings-in-law, Annie Hulst, Larry Plaquette and Carol Rastin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
