He was predeceased by: his parents, Gwyn and Marjorie (Baker). He is survived by: his wife June Newman (Glastonbury); his children, John Newman (Debbie) of Sparta, Kerry (Jeff Matthyssen) of Chatham, Jackie (Tony Morano) of North York and Fiona (Matthew Hall) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Cory (Annie), David Newman (Erin), Dana (William), Jenna Matthyssen Nadim, Olivia, Anthony, Jonathan, Mia Morano and Amy Hall; his great grandchild Madison; his brother Geoff (Margaret); and his cousin Margaret Bennett.
Due to Covid-19 a private family visitation and service will be held on Friday.
