Amy Amanda Annett Obituary

Our world has lost it's brightest star. Amy Amanda Annett, 44, left us on April 16th, 2024. Amy was the loving, caring and devoted mom of Ayden and Alex (and their father Shawn). Amy's parents, David (Melody) and late Nancy Oatman were so proud of their beautiful, accomplished daughter and she will very much be missed by her brother, Adam (Lisa). Forever in the heart of her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends and extended family. Following in her Dad's footprints, Amy was a hardworking, dedicated and respected Optician and owner/operator of Elgin Optical where service is paramount. Above all Amy was totally immersed in her boys' sports and activities and spent many hours driving and cheering them on to baseball, basketball and hockey practices and games. She, too, loved sports and was involved in slow-pitch baseball and golf.

A celebration of Amy's life will be held at the Masonic Centre of Elgin, 42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St. Thomas on Friday, April 26th at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held at the Masonic Centre prior on Friday from 11:00am-1:00pm. Flowers gratefully declined. Remembrances may be made to an Education Fund for Ayden and Alex (Cheques may be made payable to David Oatman). Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas entrusted with arrangements.
