He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bertie Irons and Ina Carter (Stafford); his wife Patricia Irons (Freeman); his siblings, James Carter, Tom Carter, Dorothy Hoffman (Irons) and Betty Wagner (Irons); and his children, Robin Margaret (Barry Cott), Nancy Irons-Murray (Joseph Murray), Joanne Irons (Christopher McGann), Dan Irons and James Irons (Mary Jeanne Barrett). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
