She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Robert Bennett; her children, Roderick "Rod" Bennett (Janet) of Collingwood, Susan Bennett (Lynn) of Guelph, Bill Bennett (Debbie) of Calgary and Mary Bennett (Tammey) of St. Thomas; her grandchildren, Joanna (Christopher), Ella (Phillip) and Jeffrey; her great grandchildren, Felix Bremer and Hewitt Bremer; her siblings, Barbara Gorshaw (Ronald), James Bain (Helena), John Bain (Judy) and Lois Bain; and her parents, James "Jack" and Ella Bain (Green).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Elgin-St. Thomas Public Art Centre or to Central United Church.
