He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grassick and Margaret Grassick; and his siblings, Beatrice, Faye and Harry.
He is survived by: his wife Doris (Hilts); his children, Reid (Victoria) and Heather; his brothers, Mac and Rick; his grandchildren, Margaret, Matthew (Krista), Ian (Andrea) and James (Breanna); his great grandchildren, Makayla, Nicholas, Hayley and Brielle; his nephew Terry Hilts (Linda); and his friend Jerry Levitt (Ruth).
As expressions of sympathy, donations could be made to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or the Grand River Hospital Foundation .
