He was predeceased by: his sisters, Winnifred Dooey and Kathleen Connolly; his brother-in-law Billy Preston; his parents-in-law, Robert Taylor Hunter and Margaret Ann Hunter (Douds); and his siblings-in-law, Martha O'Neill, David Hunter, John O'Neill, Sammy McLaughlin, Tom Tomlinson and Allen Milligan.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hunter; his children, Jody, Jeremy Eaton of St. Marys, Jackie and Sean Hall of Stratford; his grandchildren, Nathan, Kiara, Tyson, Jacob, Rylan and Aislinn; his siblings, Raymond (Pearl), Norman (Marie) and Doreen Preston of Northern Ireland; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Tomlinson of Vancouver, Violet McLaughlin, Maisie Milligan and Rosaline Hunter of Northern Ireland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the St. Marys Healthcare Foundation through the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, St. Marys, Ontario.
