She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Smith and Katherine Smith (Axford); her stepmother Evelyn F. Smith (Nelson); and her brother Robert E. Smith. She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Gerry"; her brother Laurence G. Smith; and her sister-in-law Shelia L. Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
