He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Smith and Sarah Smith; and his brother Paul Smith. He is survived by: his wife Amy Smith; his children, Piper Smith, Meaghan Smith, Christien Smith, Dylan Smith and Jennifer Smith (late Vidal); his grandson Marcel; and his sister Kimberley Smith.
