He was predeceased by: his brother Bruce "Red"; and his brother-in-law Clayt Reidel. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Dubrick of Hanover; his children, Richard Dubrick (Juanita), Robert "Bob" Dubrick of Kitchener, Michele Knoll of Grimsby, Rhonda Knoll (Tahmo Gharabaghi) of Milton, Alexa, Ian, Nick and Eva; and his sister Joyce Reidel of Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church - Brant were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
