She was predeceased by: her husband Jack McPhail; her parents, George Cooke and Sadie Cooke; her siblings, Lloyd, George (Barbara), Bob, Ross (Lenore) and Iona Everitt (Ross); and her siblings-in-law, Greg Scheurman, Manny Bennewies, Shirley Cooke and Grace Smitjes (Bennewies).
She is survived by: her children, Dave McPhail (Suzanne), Debbie Garlick (Kevin), Mary Lou Watson (Craig) and Murray McPhail (Karen); her grandchildren, Candice McPhail (Chris), Natasha Vermeer (Bart), Adam Garlick (Ashley), Tyler Garlick (Danielle), Mitchell Garlick, Kayla Knieriem (Eric), Kelly Watson, Connor McPhail, Arden McPhail and Sarah McPhail; her siblings, Doris Scheurman and Alvin Cooke; and her sister-in-law Joan Cooke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
