He was loved and cherished by many people including: his child Ashley Frey; his parents, Marilyn Petrie and Gary Petrie; his stepparent Joanne Petrie; his siblings, Stephen Petrie (Mitzi) and Valerie Lindlau; his stepsibling Shannon Bull; his nieces and nephews, Chantelle, Nicki, Sara and David; his brother-in-law Dan Koebel; and his sisters, Vicki Koebel and Lori Petrie.
