She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law Klaus Schmӧkel. She is survived by: her husband Peter Desombre; her child Rene Desombre (Wendy Woods); her grandchildren, Ella, Gibson and Oliver; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Schmӧkel and Detlef Desombre.
