Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lois Joan Gilday (Saint-Marys, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 94, on October 25, 2019. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill; her parents, Norman Carmichael and Lois Carmichael; her children, Barbara of Bellingham, WA, Bill and David; her sister Peggy Higgins; and also, Cindy and Pam of Yellowknife, NWT.. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and their spouses and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted in her name to Operation Smile (http://www.operationsmile.ca) which provides surgery for children with cleft palate or Camp Oochigeas (ooch.org), for children with cancer, two of Joan's favorite charities.
