He is survived by: his spouse Sylvia Nelson (Durie) of Guelph; his children, Michelle Nelson (Ryan) of Guelph and Paul Nelson (Monika) of Orangeville; his grandchildren, Mathew (Carrie), Shane, Chase, Cole and Gavyn; his great grandchildren, Lochlan and Everett; and his siblings, Isabel and Big.
