He was predeceased by: his father Alexander Holmes; and his stepmother Mary Holmes. He is survived by: his children, Colin Holmes, Noreen Chan, Laurie Trombley and Tracy Holmes; his grandchildren, Keegan, Hilda Chan, Renata, Fiona and Alistair Holmes; his brother Eric Holmes; and his wife Mary Wright.
