He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ball and Lavina Ball; his brother Robert; and his siblings-in-law, John Hoffman, Bill, Donna Renaud, Paul and Diana Renaud.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his children, Dr. Adrianne Ball, Jason (Rose Mary) and Maria Ball; his grandsons, Michael and Kevin (Melissa); his siblings, Thom Ball (Roswita) and Jim Ball (Edna); his sister-in-law Therese Hoffman; and his children, Dr. Jonathan Langridge, Dr. Chad Lavallee, Dr. Brent Guy, Dr. Kerry Lake, Dr. Anil Nagpal, Dr. Dave McConachie, Dr. Vera Chiamvimonvat and Dr. Khursheed Jeejeebhoy of Mary's Hospital. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
