He was predeceased by: his daughter Ruth Elizabeth; his parents, Walter and Dora (Matthews); his brothers, Paddy, Jim and Harold (Lois); his parents-in-law, Fred, Butsy Parkinson, Dave, Ruth Parkinson, Madeline Parkinson, Marion and Ken Hill; and his grandsons-in-law, Geir Utskot, Jack and Century Farm.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Laurel Kittmer (Luke), Jasmine Moulton (Adam), Timothy, Jessica (Stefan Franke), Daniel (Jazmine Tufford), Burton (Nicole), Charlotte (Kaitlin Quinlan), Priya and Eliana; his great grandchildren, June, Ada, Avery, Rowan and Brynlee; and his brother George (Dorothy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The service will be streamed on Facebook Live through the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home Facebook page.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jack's name to First Baptist Church, the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, or the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
