He was predeceased by: his grandson Sorin. He is survived by: his wife Silvia; and his children, Maria Mihaila (Pamfil), Letitia Burca (Teodor), Nicolae Prunean (Florica) and Ioan Prunean (Maria). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
