He was predeceased by: his wife Elvira Brattan; and his parents, Heinrich Brattan and Maria Brattan. He is survived by: his children, Monica Sims (Dennis Pushkin), Mia Brattan (Jerry Reich) and George Brattan (Lynda Allan); his grandchildren, Kayla Brattan, Aaron Brattan, Cody Brattan, Kai Brattan and Jessica Sims (Matthew Dick); and his siblings, Mary Witt and Steve Brattan (Cornelia).
