She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Oliveira; her son Carlos Oliveira (Kelly); her brother Manuel (Erminda); her brother-in-law Edwin (Inez); and her parents, Antonio Dasilva and Guilhermina Pacheco.
She is survived by: her children, Madalena Peter (Scott) and Denny Oliveira (Jen); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Sydney, Simon, Sophia, Cameron and Nathan; her siblings, Arminda (late Manuel), Mariana (Manuel) and Maria Jose (Hermano); her sibling-in-law Virgilia (Don); and also Portugal. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
