He was predeceased by: his wife Sophie; and his great grandchildren, Harley, Tina and Brady. He is survived by: his daughters, Dora Hobbs (late Gord) and Rose Blackwell; his grandchildren, Serena Kelly (Ron), Sherri-Lynne Dolk, Shannon Calladine, Victoria Ffrench (Mike) and Abigail Muriella (Nick); his great grandchildren, Ashley, Kristen, Colton, Alex, Devany, Daylan, Addyson, Beckham, Keith and Sophie; and his great great grandchildren, Ethan, Hudson, Logan, Kaiya, Keifer, Tyson and Annabella. He is also survived by his many extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (65 Amelia St, Barrie, ON L4M1M7). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery Barrie St. Mary's Cemetery (208 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie, ON L4N5N9). A reception was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church (65 Amelia St, Barrie, ON L4M1M7).
