She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Mainland and Ivadelle Mainland; and her brother Bill Mainland (Marnie). She is survived by: her close friend Eileen; her spouse Reg Horney; her children, Joanne, Paul, Sabina Horne of Waterloo, Brent, Julie Horne of London, Leanne and Denis Fortin of Kitchener; her grandchildren, Katie, Ally, Colby, Tyler, Mason and Cara; her siblings, Bob Mainland (Dorothy) and Alice Kerr (Jim); and her parents-in-law, Edna, Bob, Nancy, Susan, Gerry, Betty, Rick and Kathy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
