She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Macklin Burgess and Mary Elizabeth Ney. She is survived by: her husband Ian A. Manners; her children, Paul, Brenda Manners of Kirkton, Nancy Lane of St. Marys, John Weessies of St. Marys, David of St. Marys, Karen Manners of St. Marys and Stephen Manners of St. Marys; her grandsons, Jonathan (Molly) and Matthew; her great grandchild William Weessies Dear; and her siblings, Dave Burgess (Diane), Virginia, Nancy Lee (Jack Connell) and Linda (Thom Armstrong). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In her memory, donations may be made to the St. Marys Healthcare Foundation.
