He was predeceased by: his siblings, Lucile, Isabel MacDonald, Kathleen, Bruce, Edwin and John; and his brother-in-law Melvin Small.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Marlene) and Michael (Anne); his grandsons, Raland and Nevin (Angela); and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Ella, Drew, Mallory and Owen. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces.
