He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Case and Nellie; his siblings, Casey and Sandra (Marty); and his nieces and nephews, Petra and Arabella. He was also cherished by his extended family and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Worsley Street Chapel, Barrie Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Worsley Street Chapel (30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4). A reception was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery Barrie St. Mary's Cemetery (208 Sunnidale Rd, Barrie, ON L4N5N9).
