He was predeceased by: his former wife Theresa Merkle; and his brothers, Stan Dietrich and Gerry Dietrich. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Susan Thorpe (John), Brian Dietrich (Joanne), Lisa Metzger (George) and Caroline Zach (Kevin); his sister Marilyn Dietrich; and his grandchildren, Amber, Brandon, Heather, Grayson, Theresa, Erin and Trevor. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
