She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Rees and Joan Rees; and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her husband Liston; her children, David (Debora Pagurek) and Cariad (Jason Garratt); her grandchildren, Nathan, Arlen and Kayla; and her siblings, Susan Powell, Twm Rees and Claire Rees-Woods.

Her determination and resilience served her well throughout her life, and was particularly evident during two decades of living with Parkinson's Disease.
