She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ed Rowan; her children, Greg Rowan, Debra Wells (Cordell Roberts), Doug Rowan (late Karen Reid) and Wanda Rowan (Len Burke); her grandchildren, Adam Olive (Laura Leifso), Jenna Olive (Sofiane Lala), Darcy Wells and Katelyn Wells; her great grandchildren, Cali, Zachary and Owen Olive; her siblings-in-law, Martin Rowan (Vi), Rose-Marie Bekkers (Anton), Liz McCooeye (late Dale Crowder), Jo-Anne Nixon (Barry), Susan Streng (Jack) and Max Rowan (Martha); her parents, Harold Scobie and Irene Scobie; and her siblings, Robert Scobie and Harold Scobie (Lynnette). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
