He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Foote and Florence Foote of Roslin; and his sisters, Dorothy (Walt), Mary and Betty (Ralph).

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his stepchildren, Muriel (Gord), Donna (Cliff), Charlene (late Tom), Bev and Kevin (Aurelien); and his siblings, Joan (late Don), Shirley (late Harry) and Marlene (late Bev).
