He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Thibault and Dora Thibault; and his siblings, Vurden Thibault (late Violet), Elmer Thibault (late Marjorie), Bryden Thibault (Lenora), Robert Thibault, Ray Thibault (late Marie) and Lois VanDusen (Wayne).

He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Bev Tracey (Mark) and Laura Deziel (Eric); his grandchildren, Brandon (Hope), Joshua, Britteny and Blayne; his brother Duane Thibault (Donna); and his sister-in-law Ruth Morrow (Jim). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
