With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ken Friar of Roslin, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Friar and Margaret Friar (Walker). He is survived by: his children, Pat Metcalfe (Brian) of Mildmay, Cindy Reisz (Rob) of Kitchener, Mike Friar (Lisa) of Roslin and Nancy Robinson (Doug) of Francis Lake; his grandchildren, Kalena (Tyson), Krissy (Justin), Keira, Callum, Tess, Danielle (Matt), Julie (Scott) and Cyndi (Jake); his great grandchildren, Halle, Max, Rhett, Aspen, Grayson, Oliver, Isabelle and Samantha; and his sisters, Joan MacPherson (Barry) of Hanover and Marilyn Sinclair (Murray) of Parksville, B. C..
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Paisley Missionary Church (307 Balaklava St, Paisley, ON N0G2N0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations to the Paisley Missionary Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
