He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Wimperis; and his brother James C. Wimperis. He is survived by: his children, Alan and Baiba Wimperis of Rodney; his siblings, Hazel and Len Brown; his sister-in-law Marjorie Wimperis; and his pet Rusty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
