He was predeceased by: his wife Susanna; his parents, Andrew and Anna; and his brothers, Stephen and William.
He is survived by: his children, Rev. Larry Gajdos (Debbie) and Anita Gajdos; his grandsons, Joshua (Erika), Daniel, Timothy, Philip, Nathanael and Matthew Gajdos; his brother Dr. Andrew Gaydos of Toronto; and his sister-in-law Mary Bormann (Erich) of Windsor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
