He was predeceased by: his wife Nina; his siblings, Ida Scafe, Gordon Havens, Marg Leitch and Donna Gray; and his parents, Wesley Havens and Mary.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Tgahrt (Peter), Neil Havens (Pat) and Carol Bloemen (Maarten); his grandchildren, Chris Tgahrt (Jamie), Nate Tgahrt (Kayt), Nicole Danbrook (Robin), Wes Havens (Seren), Alyssa Havens, Nicolaas and Darcy Bloemen; his great grandchildren, Everly, Emmy Tgahrt, Jacob, Benson, Maddox Danbrook, Rayna and Wyatt Havens; and his sister Mary Hale of Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions can be made through the funeral home to Calvary United Church, the Rodney-Aldborough Agricultural Society or a charity of one's choice.
