Joan O'Neill Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, Joan O'Neill in Rockwood, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Patrick "Jackie" O'Neill; her parents, Mel Anderson and Jean Anderson; and her son Timothy Michael. She is survived by: her children, Mel O'Neill (Brenda), Mary Lou (Dean Fraser), Allan O'Neill (Lorna) and Cathy (David Brockhurst); her grandchildren, Paige, Hannah, Norah, Jessica, Dylan (Nicole), Jaclyn (Owen), Michael and Kaitlyn; her brother George Anderson (Deane); her adoptive father Joe (Cherie Vasey); and also Cayle. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home (166 Bruce St N, Durham, ON N0G 1R0). A prayer was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (384256 Concession Rd 4, Priceville, ON N0C1K0).
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House (cheques payable to Grey Bruce Hospice Inc.) or St. John's Glenelg Cemetery would be appreciated.
