He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline; his son Michael; his siblings, George, Clarence (Nora), Catherine Grubb (Lorne), David, Melvin, Lorne and Theresa Huber (Harvey); his in-laws, Bill Oehring, Bill Fischer and Lloyd Schnurr; and his parents, Anthony Beitz and Johanna Beitz.
He is survived by: his children, Barry (Donna) of Teeswater, RoseAnn Koebel (Tim) of Riversdale, Darryl (Lynn) of Durham, Darlene of Hanover, Susan Helwig (Pat) of Midland and Jeff (Karen) of Allan Park; his siblings, Anna Oehring of Walkerton, Florence Fischer of Hanover, Eugene Beitz (Edna) of Mildmay, Lorraine Schnurr of Mildmay and Jerry Beitz (Janet) of Hanover; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Beitz of Palmerston, Jean Beitz of Mildmay, Dianne Beitz of Mildmay and Monica Weber (Ken) of Vancouver Island. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
