We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2021, at the age of 87, Douglas Klages in Rockwood, Ontario, born in Neustadt, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Klages and Bessie Klages; his brothers, Glenn, Murray and Carman; and his brothers-in-law, Grant Matthews and Alvin Kaufman.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Klages of Hanover; his children, Steven Klages (Joan) of Durham, Robyn Klages of Brampton, John Klages of Brampton, Donna Just (Dodd Purdy) and Christopher Klages (Tammy) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Marshall, Pearce, Charlotte, Anne and Andrew; his siblings, Helen Matthews, Elaine Kaufman (Orval), Shirley Church (Doug), Ardelle Quigley (David), Brian Klages (Sharon), Carol Wiebe (Albert), Marilyn Bainard (Jim) and Joan Kaufman (Bob); and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Trudy Klages. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to First St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Hanover would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
