She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Smith; and her siblings, Ruby, Rosy, Bessie and Stanley.

She is survived by: her sons, John Smith (Anne) of Crawford and Gordon Smith (Sharon) of Hanover; her grandchildren, David (Nicole), Sarah (Rod), Aaron (Heather), Rebekah (Donald), Amanda (Lance), Twila (Rick) and Chad; her brother Gordon Smith (Mary); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Smith, Edith Willie and Mildred Holmes.
