It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Bell in Rockwood, Ontario, born in Durham, Ontario, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Elvidge and Elvin Elvidge; her husband John Miller Bell; her brother Clare Elvidge; her son-in-law Stuart McPhail; and her brothers-in-law, Doug Falconer and Norman Bell (Shirley).

She is survived by: her children, Ruth McPhail of Durham, Heather (Bjorn Andersen) of Brick and Derek Bell of Walkerton; her granddaughters, Laura (Travis Braeker), Julie McPhail, Jeane and Sonja Andersen; her great grandchild Sophie Braeker; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Falconer and Ronald Bell. She is also survived by her extended family and close friends.
