We bid farewell to Robert Joseph Johnston of Ripley, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 4, 2024 at the age of 85. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Johnston and Jean Johnston of Ashfield Township; his siblings, Lois Johnston, Freeda Bailey (Brian), Allan and Floyd; and his parents-in-law, Orville and Verna Finlayson.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his daughters, Julie Thompson (Keith) and Jennifer Pendlebury (Jay); his grandchildren, Rhys and Kelsey; and his sister-in-law Geraldine Johnston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
