He was predeceased by: his parents, Lily Nelson and Harold Nelson; and his brother Steven. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Nelson; his siblings, Susan, Karen (Ken Shiels) and Laurie; his siblings-in-law, Delma Rand, Leona Robichaud (Gary), Patsy Bennett and Merlin Stanley (Diane); and his stepchildren, Wanda (Jim Blumbergs), Scott Skillen (Tracy), Craig Skillen and Tracy (Scott Heard). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
