It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Margaret (Hamilton) Barr (Ripley, Ontario), who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Barr; her parents, Jane Hamilton (Buckton) and Gilbert Hamilton; and her siblings-in-law, John, Cora Barr, Doris, Morley Bushell, Russell, Barbara, Trixie and Percy Barr.
She is survived by: her son Murray Barr (Michele) of Kinlough; her grandchildren, Jason (Meagan), Lisa (Des), April (Mike), Jeffrey, Kyle (Madi) and Chad (Tonia); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Evelyn, Jackson and Patrick; her siblings, Betty, Bruce (Margaret), Don and Ross Hamilton (Terri); and her siblings-in-law, Eileen and Donald Barr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, a private family funeral will be held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton or the Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
