She was predeceased by: her husband William Kempton (Bill); her parents, Noma Campbell (Shiells) and William Campbell; her daughter Sandra Matheson; her son-in-law Rick McQuillin; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Courtney and Bette Torrible (Geoff).
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Rotteau (Brad), Linda McQuillin, Tom Kempton (Pauline), Mary MacNay (Steve) and Helen Van Osch (Brian); her son-in-law Al Matheson; and her sisters, Joyce Courtney and Joan Irwin (Elwood). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
