He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lavery and Lois Lavery; his in-laws, Lawrence and Clara Stroeder; and his siblings-in-law, Victor Stroeder (Ellie), Edward Stroeder (Ann), Sister Mary Magdalene Stroeder, Bernard Stroeder (Mildred), Peter Stroeder (Bernice), Imelda Mamer (Vincent), Mary Clare Kessinick (John), Joseph Stroeder, Sally Muench and George Stroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Stroeder; his son Brent (Lynnette Lalkowski) of Saskatoon; his grandchildren, Lexie and Evan; his daughter Carole-Anne (Mark Nagus) of Kincardine; his granddaughters, Amy and Sarah; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Muench and Marjorie Stroeder of Saskatchewan.
