Gerrit Hoogeveen Obituary

Gerrit Hoogeveen, of Point Clark and formerly of London, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Stratford Rotary Hospice on Monday December 12, 2022 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Joan Hoogeveen (nee Crellin). Greatly missed by daughters Alison (Greg) Wilson and Jessica (Ray) Cousineau and grandchildren Jack, Luke, Sarah, Lily, Jorja, Isaac and Aubrey. Also survived by niece Patty McKinlay, nephew Ronald DenHollander and nephews Rob, Adwin and John Hoogeveen in the Netherlands. Gerry was a "people person" who enjoyed visiting and sharing stories wherever his adventures took him. He loved his family beyond measure and thoughts of his daughters, sons-in-law and especially his grandchildren filled him with immense pride and joy. Following Gerry's wishes cremation has taken place and private arrangements have been entrusted to the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley. Stratford Rotary Hospice.
