He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Elliott (Chesbro) and Ellwood Elliott. He is survived by: his son Gavin; his grandchildren, Madden and Ashelynn; his brother Nazneen Elliott of Whitby; his nephew Brenden; his niece Yasmin; and his aunt Rhoda Chesbro of Owen Sound. He is also survived by several cousins, extended family and friends.

Due to the COVID 19 restrictions, a celebration of Dave's life will be held at a later date.
