He was predeceased by: his parent James "Jimmy"; and his brother Jon Dowthwaite (late Eleanor). He is survived by: his parent Doris Dowthwaite (Winterbottom); his spouse Janice Dowthwaite; and his child James Dowthwaite of Calgary. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
