She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Tabacek and Sofi Tabacek (Pakanec); her brothers, Tom Tabacek (late Irene) and Anthony Tabacek; and her parents-in-law, Pat Cikatricis (late Joe), Mary Dinga (late Steve), Louis Sojak (Martha Kys), Martha Kovar (late Al), Joe Sojak (late Bonnie), Stanley Sojak and Agnes.
She is survived by: her husband John Sojak; her children, Jane Henderson (Ross) of Strathroy and Tom Sojak (Sylvana) of Windsor; her grandchildren, Candice Budzarov (David) and Robert Webster; her great grandchild Layla Budzarov; her sister Irene Loop (Bob); and her siblings-in-law, Bessie Kominek (late Frank), Frances Kominek (Stan), Milan Sojak (late Geraldine) and Jerry Sojak (Jean). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Mary to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
